We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your unbelieving daughter and her precious young child who are enduring the torment of coercive control and abuse. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every injustice, and every wicked scheme of the enemy. The Word declares in Psalm 10:17-18, *"Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause Your ear to hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more."* We stand in the gap for this family, declaring that the evil one will not prevail over them.
Lord Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of control, manipulation, and abuse that has taken root in this situation. We command it to flee in Your mighty name, for You came to *"proclaim release to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18). We pray for divine intervention in the legal system—let truth be revealed, let lies be exposed, and let justice prevail. Proverbs 21:15 says, *"It is joy to the righteous to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity."* We ask that those in authority would have their eyes opened to the truth and their hearts softened to act with righteousness.
Father, we also lift up your daughter’s salvation. She is in desperate need of Your love and truth. Romans 10:13 tells us, *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."* We pray that she would turn to You, the only One who can break every chain and heal every wound. Surround her with godly influences—believers who will speak life, truth, and hope into her situation. Give her the strength to stand firm, knowing that *"the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).
For this innocent child, we pray for protection and healing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this child will not be defined by the trauma they’ve endured but will be covered by the blood of Jesus, shielded by angels, and surrounded by Your peace. Psalm 91:11 assures us, *"For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
We also address the sin of fornication that led to this child’s conception outside of marriage. While we do not condemn your daughter, we acknowledge that all sin has consequences, and the enemy often uses past mistakes to perpetuate bondage. We pray for repentance, healing, and restoration in this area. 1 Corinthians 6:18 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* May Your grace lead her to holiness and wholeness.
Lastly, we pray for you, the one interceding for this family. The burden of watching a loved one suffer is heavy, but we are reminded in Galatians 6:9, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Lean on the Lord, for He is your strength. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Heavenly Father, we stand united in faith, believing that You are moving on behalf of this family. Break every chain of abuse, expose every lie, and bring forth justice and healing. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne. Amen.
