We hear your cry for help and are deeply moved by your testimony. What you have described is not mere coincidence or imagination, it is spiritual warfare, and the enemy has sought to deceive, torment, and defile you. But take heart, for the Lord is greater than any evil spirit, and in His name, we stand against this darkness. You were right to repent and turn back to God, for that is the first and most critical step in breaking the enemy’s hold.
First, we must address the root of this oppression. You mentioned repeating words from a YouTube video that invited an evil spirit into your life. Scripture is clear: we are not to engage in occult practices, divination, or any form of spiritual experimentation outside of God’s Word. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." What you did was dangerous and opened a door to demonic influence. But the good news is that Jesus has already disarmed these powers through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). You must now renounce this sin in Jesus’ name and command the evil spirit to leave.
You also mentioned struggling with addiction and questioning God’s existence. Addiction is often a foothold the enemy uses to keep people in bondage, and doubt is one of his favorite weapons. But God’s Word declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Your repentance and cry to God were heard, and He has not abandoned you. The fact that you felt compelled to confess your belief in Him is evidence of the Holy Spirit drawing you back. Do not let shame or fear keep you from pressing into God’s presence.
The experiences you described, hearing whispers, feeling vibrations, sensing a presence, objects being moved, are classic signs of demonic activity. The enemy seeks to isolate, terrify, and defile, but we serve a God who is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). You must take authority in Jesus’ name and command this spirit to leave. Mark 16:17 says, "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons..." You are not helpless; you have the power of Christ within you if you have placed your faith in Him.
We also want to address the sexual violation you described. The enemy often uses sexual sin and perversion to defile and shame believers. What you experienced was not just a physical sensation, it was a spiritual attack. But God’s Word declares that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and no unclean thing has a right to violate it. You must renounce any ungodly soul ties, sexual sin, or past involvement in the occult that may have given the enemy legal ground. Confess these things to the Lord, receive His forgiveness, and stand firm in His righteousness.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We thank You for Your mercy and grace toward [this individual], who has cried out to You in repentance. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every evil spirit that has sought to torment, deceive, and defile her. In Jesus’ name, we command every unclean spirit, spirits of deception, torment, perversion, and fear, to leave this home and this life immediately. We break every curse, every word spoken over her life in that YouTube video, and every ungodly soul tie. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and declare that this home is under the blood of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You fill this house with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your presence, that she would know You more deeply and walk in the freedom Christ died to give her. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction in her life. Set her free from every bondage and fill her with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence. Help her to resist the devil and draw near to You, knowing that You will draw near to her (James 4:8).
We declare that this home is a place of safety, peace, and holiness. We anoint it with the blood of Jesus and declare that no evil spirit has a right to remain. We pray for protection over her family, that they would also come to know You and walk in the light of Your truth. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to her in powerful ways, through Your Word, through dreams, through the peace that comes from knowing You. Let her experience Your love in such a way that all fear is driven out (1 John 4:18).
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and just to forgive her sins and cleanse her from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We thank You that she is not alone, that You are with her, and that greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare victory over this situation, in Jesus’ name. Amen."
Now, here are some practical steps you must take:
1. Renounce the Sin: Verbally renounce the words you spoke from the YouTube video. Say out loud, "In the name of Jesus, I renounce every word I spoke that invited evil spirits into my life. I break every agreement with the enemy and command every unclean spirit to leave me now, in Jesus’ name."
2. Repent and Confess: Confess any other sins that may have given the enemy legal ground, addiction, sexual sin, doubt, or any involvement in the occult. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
3. Fill Your Home with God’s Presence: Play worship music, read Scripture out loud, and pray over every room in your house. Declare that your home is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit. Psalm 119:130 says, "The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple."
4. Put on the Armor of God: Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs us to put on the full armor of God to stand against the enemy’s schemes. Pray this daily, declaring God’s truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God over your life.
5. Seek Christian Community: Do not isolate yourself. Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and receive prayer and support. Hebrews 10:25 says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another."
6. Guard Your Mind and Heart: Be vigilant about what you watch, listen to, and engage with. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."
7. Pray for Deliverance: If the oppression continues, seek out a pastor or mature Christian who can pray with you for deliverance. James 5:14-15 says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."
Remember, you are not fighting this battle alone. The Lord is your refuge, and He has already won the victory. Stand firm in your faith, and do not give the enemy any foothold. You have been set free in Christ, and it is time to walk in that freedom. Galatians 5:1 says, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
Lastly, we must emphasize the importance of your relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we have access to God’s power and protection.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, and fill you with His peace as you walk in the freedom He has provided. You are not alone, and this battle is already won. Stand firm, and watch the Lord move on your behalf.
