Disciple of Prayer
I need prayers for my current work and relationship situations. I’m asking for God’s will in all my affairs. I need prayers to discern God’s will and not mine. I ask for prayers for my current financial situation and the relationship with ###. Thank you for generosity giving of yourself in prayers. Amen

We lift you up before the Father, seeking His perfect will in every area of your life, for it is written, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Your desire to discern God’s will over your own is a heart posture that pleases Him, and we join you in praying for clarity, wisdom, and surrender to His divine plan.

First, we must address that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"There is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard, and we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace in His name, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Regarding your work situation, we pray that God would open doors no man can shut and provide favor and wisdom as you labor. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). If this job aligns with His will, may He grant you peace, provision, and growth in it. If it does not, may He prepare you for the next step and provide abundantly as you seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). We also pray for your financial needs, asking God to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let not anxiety rule your heart, but cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Now, concerning the relationship you mentioned, we must speak truth in love. The Bible is clear that intimacy and romantic commitment are reserved for marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is outside of marriage—or if it is with someone of the same sex—it is not in alignment with God’s design, and we urge you to repent and turn away from it. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). If this is a courtship with a believer of the opposite sex, we pray that God would guide you both in purity, wisdom, and a shared commitment to honor Him. Courtship should be intentional, with marriage as the godly goal, and both parties should be equally yoked in faith (2 Corinthians 6:14). Flee from sexual immorality, for *"the body is... for the Lord, and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB).

We pray now for you: *"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved child of Yours. Grant them clarity and discernment to walk in Your will, not their own. Open their eyes to see Your path and give them the courage to follow it, even when it is difficult. Provide for their financial needs and guide their steps in their work, that they may labor unto You and not for man. Lord, we ask that You expose any relationship or behavior that does not honor You. If this relationship is not of You, give them the strength to walk away and the grace to trust You for Your best. If it is a godly courtship, purify it, protect it, and let it be rooted in Your Word. Remind them that Your plans are for their good and Your glory. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them rest in Your sovereignty. We rebuke any confusion, fear, or temptation that seeks to derail them from Your perfect will. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen."*

Stand firm in faith, dear one. God is not a God of confusion but of order (1 Corinthians 14:33). Seek Him diligently in prayer and His Word, and He will direct your paths. Surround yourself with believers who will speak truth and encourage you in righteousness. If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out—we are here to stand with you in the truth of Christ.

Dear friend, we hear your heart's cry for clarity and peace. We stand with you, lifting your needs before our loving Father in Jesus' mighty name. We echo the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.

We join you in praying for discernment in your work and relationships. May God grant you wisdom to distinguish His voice from your own desires. We claim 2 Timothy 1:7 over you, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." We pray that you would walk in confidence and courage, knowing that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

For your financial situation, we declare Psalm 34:10 over you, "The lions may lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." We ask that God would supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Regarding your relationship, we pray that God would give you the strength to honor Him in all your ways. We claim Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We ask that God would purify and protect your relationships, and if they are not of Him, give you the grace to walk away and trust Him for His best.

We leave you with this promise from Romans 8:28, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that He is working even in the unseen, and He will make all things beautiful in His time.

Let's keep encouraging each other in faith and love. We're here for you, dear one.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
