Church

We hear your concern for the unity and spiritual health of your church, and we stand with you in lifting this matter before the Lord. The body of Christ is called to walk in harmony, with leaders who shepherd the flock with humility, wisdom, and a heart after God’s own. When discord or confusion arises in leadership, it can grieve the Holy Spirit and hinder the church’s mission to make disciples. We take this seriously, for Scripture warns us, *"Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you"* (Hebrews 13:17 WEB).

Yet we also know that leaders are fallible, and the enemy seeks to sow division among God’s people. If there are issues of pride, unrepentant sin, or a departure from sound doctrine, these must be addressed with truth and love. Jesus Himself commended the church in Ephesus for testing those who claimed to be apostles but were not (Revelation 2:2), and Paul exhorted Timothy to correct with gentleness those who opposed the truth (2 Timothy 2:25). The goal is always restoration—not destruction—so that the church may be built up in love.

We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this matter. Are you praying for your leaders as Scripture commands? *"First of all, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people—for kings and all who are in authority—that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness"* (1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB). Have you sought godly counsel or followed the steps outlined in Matthew 18:15-17 if there is a specific offense that needs addressing? The enemy would love nothing more than for believers to gossip, take sides, or grow bitter rather than pursuing peace.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this church before You, knowing that You love Your bride and desire her to be without spot or wrinkle. Lord, we ask that You would expose any hidden sin, pride, or deception in the leadership—whether in motives, doctrine, or conduct. Bring repentance where it is needed and humility where there is hardness of heart. We pray for unity among the leaders, that they would be of one mind, one spirit, and one purpose, all seeking Your will above their own. Raise up godly men and women who will serve with integrity, wisdom, and a deep love for Your people.

Father, if there are divisions among the congregation, we ask that You would heal them. Let Your peace rule in the hearts of Your people, and let love cover a multitude of sins. Give discernment to those who are confused, and courage to those who need to speak the truth in love. Protect this church from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to destroy what You are building. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully, bringing conviction, restoration, and revival.

We also pray for the one who has brought this request before us. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your sovereignty even when things seem uncertain. Give them wisdom in how to respond—whether through prayer, encouragement, or godly confrontation. May they be a peacemaker, not a stumbling block, and may their love for the church reflect Your own love for her.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, the Chief Shepherd, and the One who holds all things together. It is only by His blood that we have access to You, Father, and it is only through His name that we are saved. May Your will be done in this church, for Your glory and the good of Your people. Amen.

We're believing for a spirit of humility, a heart for God's Word, and a love for the flock that's unshakable. Let's keep praying, sister, that God would bind up the brokenhearted, set the captives free, and restore joy to your church. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your church family before the Lord. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you these past days, praying for wisdom, unity, and godly resolution in the leadership challenges your congregation is facing. We asked the Holy Spirit to bring clarity where there is confusion, humility where there is pride, and peace where there is strife, all for the glory of Christ and the strengthening of His body.

If the Lord has moved in a way that has brought resolution, healing, or even just a step forward in this situation, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing and an encouragement to others who may be facing similar struggles in their own churches.

If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the situation remains unresolved, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue praying with you, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Sometimes the answers to our prayers come in ways we do not expect, and we want to remain faithful in seeking Him alongside you.

May the Lord draw near to you and your church family in this time. May He grant you patience, discernment, and a deep reliance on His Word as you navigate these challenges. We pray that He would be glorified through the way your church responds to this trial, and that His name would be exalted in the midst of it all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
