I have several requests…
The first and foremost, I visited a church today, which I have been to in the past. Unfortunately, this church is dying spiritually. It’s very sad to witness this happening. It’s such a nice little church. Its congregation is mainly made up of senior citizens. I would say about 90%. Well, the people of this church don’t like change. They have gotten comfortable and don’t see the need for change. However, it’s like the pastor said this morning… “If change doesn’t happen, the church will die. Its congregation is made up of senior citizens, and as the Lord calls them home, the congregation gets smaller.” I’m asking for prayer on behalf of this church, its congregation, and its pastor. Please pray for change, spiritual growth, and the survival of this church. It’s one of the older churches in town, which is rich in history and tradition. Please pray for them.
Second, I really need a good church. I’ve been thinking, and I’ve always done much better when connected to a church and its family, looking for a strong church with good, honest, sincere people. I also would like to get Sundays off somehow. I really don’t know how this one will happen, but God knows how to do it.
Third, I really need to get motivated to stay at work. We are able to leave early if staffing permits it. Okay, so I’m showing up to work. Now, I just need to stay and stop making deals with God to ease my conscience. (Lord, forgive me; I know I’ve done wrong.) When I’m at work, I wish I wanted to stay instead of dreading being there… Also, need to prosper at work to please employer.
Fourth, I’m still depressed, just not happy. I’ve been able to control my emotions so far. PRAISE GOD!!! Thank you Lord… I’m just not happy with myself, my life, my finances, just everything… and I miss my friend. I still haven’t heard from him. It’s a ten-year friendship that’s just ruined.
