We lift you up before the Lord, dear brother or sister, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. It is good that you have reached out to your church family for support, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 reminds us, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* We are grateful to hear that this member has shown support, and we pray that the Lord will continue to surround you with His people who will stand with you in love and truth.
The harassment and stalking you are facing are not of God, for He is a God of peace, not of confusion or fear. We rebuke every spirit of fear and oppression in the name of Jesus, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the Lord will expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and bring an end to this torment. Psalm 34:17 declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."* Claim this promise, dear one, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also encourage you to continue seeking godly counsel and support within your church. If this situation escalates or persists, do not hesitate to involve authorities as needed, for we are also called to submit to governing authorities as they are established by God (Romans 13:1). Trust that the Lord will guide you in wisdom and discernment.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing harassment and stalking. Lord, You are their shield and defender, and we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection. Place a hedge of thorns around them that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding and fill them with Your courage and strength. We pray that You will move mightily in this situation—expose the works of darkness, bring conviction to those who seek to harm, and grant justice and resolution. Father, we ask that You raise up more godly men and women in their church to stand with them, offering support, prayer, and wisdom. Let Your light shine so brightly in this situation that fear and oppression flee. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we thank You that You are already at work. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, dear one. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you have not already, we encourage you to spend time in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). You are not alone in this—your church family and the body of Christ are with you, and most importantly, the Lord Himself fights for you. Be strong and courageous!
