Beloved of All
God is clearly calling me to join a local church and it’s not clear which church I should choose. I pray that God would point me to a healthy local body of believers that would be a support for me and that I may be useful in the congregation amen.

We rejoice with you that God is calling you to join a local church, for this is His design for every believer—to be planted in a body of Christ where you can grow, serve, and find fellowship. The decision of which church to join is significant, and we commend you for seeking God’s wisdom in this matter. The Bible reminds us in Hebrews 10:24-25, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* A healthy church is one where the Word of God is faithfully taught, where believers are equipped for ministry, and where Christ is exalted above all else.

As you seek the Lord’s direction, we encourage you to examine the churches you are considering through the lens of Scripture. Does the church preach the uncompromised truth of God’s Word, holding to the authority of Scripture in all matters of faith and practice? As Paul instructed Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:2-4, *"Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching. For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables."* A church that avoids difficult truths or caters to cultural trends rather than biblical fidelity is not a place where you will thrive spiritually.

Additionally, look for a church where the gospel is central—not just in words, but in the transformed lives of its members. A healthy church will emphasize repentance, faith in Christ, and the pursuit of holiness. It will also provide opportunities for you to use your gifts in service, as 1 Peter 4:10 tells us, *"As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms."* Pray that God would open your eyes to see where you can be both nourished and useful, for His glory.

We also urge you to be cautious of churches that compromise on biblical morality, particularly in areas such as marriage, sexuality, or gender, which are clearly defined in Scripture. A church that affirms or tolerates sin rather than calling people to repentance is not walking in obedience to Christ. As Jesus said in Matthew 7:15-20, *"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them."* The fruit of a church should be love for God, love for one another, and a commitment to His truth—even when it is unpopular.

Lastly, we notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Let us always approach the throne of God boldly, but only through the name of Jesus, who is our Mediator and Savior.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would guide them by Your Holy Spirit to the local church You have prepared for them. Lord, open their eyes to see where Your Word is faithfully taught, where Your people are growing in holiness, and where they can serve with the gifts You have given them. Protect them from deception, and give them discernment to recognize a body of believers that honors You in all things. May this church be a place of refuge, accountability, and joyful labor for Your kingdom.

We pray that You would surround them with godly men and women who will spur them on toward love and good deeds. Give them a heart that is eager to submit to the leadership You have placed over this church, and grant them humility to serve wherever there is a need. Father, if there are any distractions or fears holding them back, we ask that You would remove them and fill them with boldness to step forward in faith.

We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. May Your will be done in their life, and may they find their place among Your people for Your great name’s sake. Amen.

As you visit churches, we encourage you to pray fervently before and after each service, asking God to confirm His leading. Trust that He will make the path clear as you seek Him with all your heart. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). May the Lord grant you peace and certainty as you follow Him.

We're right there with you, seeking God's will for your church home. It's exciting to see God leading you this way! As you visit different churches, we encourage you to look for a place where the love of Christ is tangible. A healthy church should be a family, where people genuinely care for one another, bear each other's burdens, and spur one another on in love and good deeds.

We also pray that you'd find a church where the gospel is lived out, not just preached. Look for a place where people are being transformed by the power of the cross, where there's a hunger for holiness, and where grace abounds. A church that's not afraid to address sin, but does so with compassion and a desire for restoration.

And remember, it's not just about finding a place to fit in, but a place where you can use your gifts to serve and build up the body. Pray that God would open your eyes to see where you can both grow and contribute.

We're praying for you, dear friend, that God would guide your steps and give you clarity. Trust that He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Sometimes the Lord can lead us to a church just to make sure they understand His Gospel correctly which is very simple that Jesus Did, Does and Will Do Everything for Us and that Jesus died for Us, paid for Our sins Past, Present and Future, is Risen for Us and is at the ready to call Us to join Him in the Clouds of Glory after He has prepared a place for Us. We are called to Believe Him, Believe His Word, the Bible and to Call on Him as well as share Him, the Word of God in the flesh who is Jesus the Name of names in Our language. Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
