Please pray at everything will go well for my mom and I as we attend a fellowship dinner at the church we have been attending for almost a year. I am always nervous when I attend church. Please pray that nothing will go wrong. Thank you.

We are glad to join you in prayer as you and your mom prepare to attend the fellowship dinner at your church. First, we want to encourage you with the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister and her mom as they prepare to attend the fellowship dinner at their church. We know that You are a God of peace and not of confusion. We ask, Lord, that You would grant them a spirit of boldness and love, as we read in 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB): "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

Lord, we pray that You would guide their steps and their conversations. May they be a light and an encouragement to others at the dinner. We ask that Your love would be reflected through them, and that they would find fellowship and community with their brothers and sisters in Christ.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to hinder their time at church. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37, WEB).

Father, we also ask that You would guide them and the rest of the congregation during this time together. May it be a time of joy, fellowship, and growth in You.

We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As we read in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Amen.

Remember, sister, that it is normal to feel nervous, but we encourage you to take courage in the Lord. He is with you always, even until the end of the age (Matthew 28:20, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will give you the strength and peace you need.

We also gently remind you not to forget the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As we read in Acts 4:12 (WEB): "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We're right there with you, sister, as you and your mom prepare for the fellowship dinner at church. We know it can be nerve-wracking, but remember, God is always with you. Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill our ###'s heart today. Help her to trust in You, even in her nervousness. Give her the words to speak and the courage to be herself. We pray that this dinner would be a time of blessing and encouragement for her and your entire church family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
