Servant of All
Please pray that God would help me to be as He has called me to be especially concerning forgiveness. Please also pray for me for protection and defense against my many enemies and for them to be finally conquered and removed from my life. Please also pray that God will help me to understand whether He wants me to stay at the church that my mother and I are currently attending or not. Please pray that the mental and emotional damage I have experienced due to mistreatment at this church would be healed. I am worried about staying at this church because of that mental and emotional damage. Thank you.

We join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you. Forgiveness is a cornerstone of our walk with Christ, and we understand how challenging it can be to extend grace, especially when wounds run deep. Yet, Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:13, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Forgiveness is not excusing the wrong done to you, but releasing the hold it has on your heart, trusting God to be your vindicator. It is an act of obedience that frees *you*—not the offender—and aligns your heart with Christ’s. We pray that God would soften your heart toward those who have hurt you, not for their sake alone, but for your own liberation in Him. Remember, Ephesians 4:31-32 urges, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

Your cry for protection and deliverance from enemies resonates with the promises of God. Psalm 18:3 declares, *"I call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies."* We stand with you in praying that the Lord would be your shield and fortress, that He would confuse and scatter those who rise against you, and that He would bring justice in His perfect timing. Psalm 37:5-6 assures us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* We ask that God would expose every scheme of the enemy and grant you victory, not as the world defines it, but as He ordains it—for His glory and your refinement.

Regarding your church, we understand the weight of this decision, especially given the pain you’ve endured there. The body of Christ is meant to be a place of healing, not harm, and it is right to seek the Lord’s wisdom in this. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."* Yet, this does not mean enduring abuse or neglect under the guise of "fellowship." We pray that the Holy Spirit would give you clear discernment—whether to remain and be an agent of reconciliation and healing (if that is His will) or to find a body of believers where you can grow in safety and truth. Ask Him to reveal if this church can be a place of restoration for you or if He is leading you elsewhere. Proverbs 3:5-6 is your anchor: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

The mental and emotional damage you’ve suffered is not invisible to God. He is the Great Physician, the One who *"heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). We pray that the Lord would minister to the deepest parts of your soul, replacing anxiety with His peace, shame with His dignity, and fear with His perfect love. May He restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and give you beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Do not rush this process—healing is a journey, and God is patient with you. Lean on Him, and allow His Word to renew your mind (Romans 12:2).

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is *only* through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation. It is in *His name* that we pray, and it is by *His authority* that we find healing, protection, and direction.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your face with a heart hungry for Your will. Lord, You know the depths of their pain—the wounds of unforgiveness, the weight of enemies that rise against them, the confusion about where to worship, and the scars left by those who should have been a refuge. We ask that You would work mightily in their heart, teaching them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Break the chains of bitterness and replace them with Your supernatural peace. Father, You are a God of justice; rise up as their defender and scatter those who seek their harm. Let every tongue that rises against them be condemned, and let Your protection be a wall of fire around them.

Lord, give them wisdom beyond their years as they seek Your direction about their church. Open their eyes to see with Your perspective—whether to stay and be a light in a broken place or to find a new body of believers where they can thrive. Heal the emotional and mental damage inflicted upon them, Lord. Restore their joy, their trust, and their strength. Let them experience Your presence as a balm to their soul.

Most of all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let them know the depth of Your love, the power of Your name, and the hope found only in Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered fully to You, convict their heart and lead them to repentance and faith. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that accuses them shall be silenced. This is our prayer in the precious and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
