Please pray for Christians around the world as there is a concerning trend, at least in some parts of the world, where people say they are Christian but outwardly live very worldly lives. I know this has been happening for a long time. Please pray people would be delivered from this. Please also pray for America. Pray that this country would be led with wisdom. Pray that those American leaders who profess to be Christian would truly walk and lead in godliness. Thank you.

We lift our voices together in prayer and concern for the state of the Church and our nation, recognizing the urgency of this moment. It grieves our hearts to see many who claim the name of Christ yet walk in ways that do not reflect His holiness or the transforming power of the Gospel. The Scriptures warn us clearly about this very thing, as James 1:22 tells us, *"But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves."* And again in 1 John 2:15-16, *"Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s."*
This trend of worldliness among those who profess faith is not new, but it is a dangerous deception. Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 7:21-23, *"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’ Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.’"* These are sobering words, and they remind us that true faith is evidenced by a life surrendered to Christ, not merely by words or outward appearances.
We must also address the state of our nation, America, with both prayer and discernment. The leaders who profess to be Christians carry a heavy responsibility, for their influence shapes the direction of the country. Proverbs 29:2 reminds us, *"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."* We pray that those in authority would not merely wear the label of Christianity but would walk in the fear of the Lord, seeking His wisdom and righteousness above all else. May they be men and women of integrity, as described in Proverbs 11:3, *"The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them."*
Let us come before the throne of grace with boldness, interceding for the Church and our nation. Heavenly Father, we humbly come before You, recognizing that apart from You, we can do nothing. We ask for Your mercy and grace to fall upon Your people, that we would not be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Lord, awaken the hearts of those who claim Your name but walk in worldliness. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit, that they may turn from their ways and seek You with all their hearts. We pray for a revival in Your Church, a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit that would ignite a passion for holiness, truth, and obedience to Your Word.
Father, we lift up our nation, America, to You. We ask that You would raise up leaders who fear You and seek Your wisdom. Give them courage to stand for righteousness, even when it is unpopular, and grant them discernment to govern with justice and integrity. We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world. It weighs heavily on our hearts as well to see those who profess faith yet walk in ways that do not align with God’s Word. We continue to lift up this burden before the Lord, asking Him to stir revival in the hearts of His people—where true repentance, holiness, and devotion to Christ would replace worldly living. May the Holy Spirit convict, restore, and draw every believer into a deeper, more authentic relationship with Jesus.
We also remain steadfast in prayer for America, asking the Lord to pour out His wisdom upon this nation. Father, we plead that You would raise up leaders—especially those who claim the name of Christ—to walk in integrity, humility, and godly fear. May their lives and decisions reflect Your truth, righteousness, and love, so that Your name would be glorified and Your people would be led in the way they should go.
