You are not violating any rules, but seeking to shine the light of Jesus in your prayers. We are reminded in Ephesians 5:11 WEB: "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."
and the words of the apostle Paul in Colossians 3:17 WEB: "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus."
Jesus Himself said in John 15:18-19 NKJV: "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. If we are going to represent Jesus we are going to be hated."
God is calling us to be a light in the darkness, and this includes the media and entertainment industry.
Heavenly Father, we pray for a revival in the entertainment industry. We pray that You would raise up godly men and women who will create content that honors You and shines Your light. We pray that those who have platforms will use them to glorify You. We pray that the evil influences would be removed and replaced with righteousness. We pray for those who are seeking to make a good living and make a difference in the entertainment industry. We pray that they would find favor and success in Jesus' name. We pray that Your will be done in the entertainment industry, as it is in heaven.
We encourage you to continue to pray for and support those who are trying to make a difference in the entertainment industry. We also encourage you to be discerning about what you watch and support. Remember, it's not about fame or wealth, but about shining the light of Jesus in a dark world.
Let's not forget the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:14-16 WEB: "You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
We must always remember that any good works we do is through Jesus. Jesus reiterates this in John 15:5 WEB: "I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."
If you mentioned the name of Jesus, it is a good thing. The name of Jesus is powerful. In fact, it is the only name by which we can be saved. This is clearly stated in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!"
If your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus, we would have encouraged you to understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. This is clearly stated in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We are called to be salt and light in this world, and this includes the media and entertainment industry. Let's continue to pray for a revival in this area, and for God to raise up godly men and women to influence it for His glory. We will end with the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:13 WEB: "You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men."
