We join with you in prayer, asking that our precious brother will be filled with the fullness of Christ. We stand on the promises of Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me." and Ephesians 4:13, "until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother. We pray that Christ in him will take on a greater and greater shape, that Your Spirit will overwhelm his ego, Lord. Help him to decrease that Christ may increase in him. Fill him with your fullness, that he may walk in a manner worthy of Your calling. We also pray, asking that you send out laborers into Your harvest. Raise up workers, Lord, to gather in the harvest for Your kingdom's sake in Jesus name."
We encourage our brother to continue to strive towards the goal of Christlikeness, remembering that it is God who works in him, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Keep pressing on towards the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
We are blessed to have been able to pray for this request, acknowledging that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Thank you for including Jesus' name in your request. Remember, "nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12 WEB.
We join with you in asking that the Lord blesses Israel. In Jesus' name we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the salvation of the Jewish people. May they recognize their Messiah and come to know Him as their Savior.
May the Lord bless you abundantly, as you have asked, according to Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you." WEB and Job 42:10, "Yahweh turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before." May He do so for you, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
