Chris is crushing hopes of joyful wedding

Dear Lord,

You know how Chris is crushing the hopes of our daughter to have a joyful wedding. You know how the conversation just went between them and how he refuses now to pay his part of their expenses for this reception Lord it has put Adam and Taylor in an awkward place. But Lord we know that this is the enemy working. We know that the devil is working on Chris overtime and that Chris is giving in to that. He cannot see how he is saddening his daughter. With the wedding only a month and 1/2 away, it is getting tougher. And with the potential of Chris losing his job in the next few weeks, I know it is torture for him. But Lord, he chose to leave. He chose to not have the support, love, and compassion of his wife and family when he chose to leave us. Help him to see that all hope is in YOU and You alone!!! And Lord be with our daughter and her fiance and help them to have understanding, patience, and hope that her Dad will come around.

Allow him the compassion and mercy to see how his attitudes and words are affecting his daughter at this special, precious time. Use any means possible to break his spirit and bring him back to You. I pray for resolution of this conflict and healing upon this family.
