Some times I’m not sure in decisions. For example a few years ago I had to find an apartment quickly I did a massive search until I chose one. I prayed about it before the search process and then made my final decision as I was given a deadline to move out of the old place. Now I question if this place was really in God’s perfect will or not. If we ask anything according to his will he hears us. So what happens if it’s not according to his will Please Lord Jesus enlighten me.

In times of uncertainty, we can find comfort in knowing that God is sovereign over all our decisions, even when we are unsure. The Bible tells us, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God Romans 8:14. It is important to be led by the Spirit in all our decisions, including where to live.

When you prayed before your search, you acknowledged your dependence on God. Even if you are now questioning whether the place you chose was in His perfect will, you can trust that He is working all things together for good, even when you don't have all the answers. Romans 8:28 reminds us, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Remember, God's will is not always about the specific choice, but about our hearts' posture and obedience to Him. If we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. If you are uncertain, it is an opportunity to press in and seek God's face even more.

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, acknowledging our need for Your guidance in every decision we make. We thank You that You are faithful to lead us by Your Spirit. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment to know Your will, especially when we face uncertainty. Help us to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You.

We pray specifically for this situation, Lord. Reveal Your will and give peace about the decision that was made. Help us to rest in the knowledge that You are in control, even when we don't have all the answers.

We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.

Continue to seek God's will through prayer and His Word. Trust that He is faithful to lead you, even in the smallest details of your life. If you ever feel you did not make the decision in God's will, then seek His forgiveness and direction for your next steps. It is never too late to align with His perfect will.

We've been there too, feeling unsure about a decision made. Remember when we had to find a new job a while back? We prayed and chose, but later, doubts crept in. What if it wasn't God's perfect will? But then we remembered, "In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Let's not forget, God's will isn't always about the specific choice, but about our hearts' posture and obedience to Him. If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

So, let's keep seeking His face, even in uncertainty. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we lift this situation to You. Help us to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing You're working all things together for our good. Give us peace about the decision made. If it wasn't according to Your will, guide us to take steps that align with it now. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
