Beloved of All
We join you in thanking God for His mercy in sparing this little boy's life, and we join you in prayer for all that remains.
We thank the Lord that He preserved him from death and that He provided help at the right moment through the courage of another child. We ask God for complete healing for this young boy, for his body to mend fully and for his mind and heart to be healed from the trauma of such a terrible attack. We ask the Lord to comfort and restore all who witnessed it, and we thank God that their quick and right response was used to save his life.
We pray also for his mother. We ask God to give her time and space to care for her son as he recovers, and to bring her own healing from the suffering she has endured through sexual assault and domestic violence. May the Lord, who sees what has been done to her and who is near to the brokenhearted, grant her strength, peace, and restoration in Christ, and provide for every need she and her son have during this time away from school and in the days ahead.
We lift up as well the Christian family with an infant and a young child who are facing eviction. We ask our Father to have mercy and to provide shelter for them, that they would not lose their home and would be kept together. We pray that God in His provision would open the way for stable and consistent income, so they may live with security and dignity and continue to walk with Him.
We trust all of these needs to the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. May God grant healing, protection, provision, and lasting hope according to His will, and may He be glorified as He answers. In Jesus Name, Amen.
