Good Morning Family,

“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. “- Psalm 40:2

We have not always been in the place where we are now. We have not always had the opportunities that we are able to experience today. We have not always been as wise as we are now. We have not always been as educated as we are now. We have not always praised the way we do now. We have not always worshipped the way we do now…Why…?

Because our lives are being straightened out as we speak:

Some of us have wallowed in self-pity…

Some of us have had disastrous relationships...

Some of us have been addicted to some substances...

Some of us have tried to live any kind of way…

Some of us have been evil and vindictive…

All of us have committed sin and made some mistakes…yet...

God has still allowed us grace for the journey and another chance. When were down, God picked us up. When we wanted to give up, God lifted us up. When we fell down, God straightened us up…

Now we can testify that we may not be where we ought to be but we are certainly better than what we used to be.

“When everything else fails, I can go to the Rock…”

thank you so much for the reminder, we all have our sins, and our regrets. Thank the Lord, he gave us his son. amen

I’m not too sure how to start this, I’m not the greatest author so hopefully I can get all I need to out in a way that makes sense. My pawpaw was the preacher of a small baptist church where I grew up. Everyone in my family either worked or volunteered for a church. When I was young growing up...
