I have been having some left side chest pain for a few days. I did make a dr appt but it's not until 2/19. I know it sounds like I should go in sooner, but honestly I have left side chest pain a lot and have been sent home every time so I don't want to overreact and keep going in. It does feel a little different this time, so I am just praying that it is not anything serious, that I don't have anything life-threatening going on and for healing and the pain to go away. Thank you so much for your prayers!
 
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you deal with this concerning chest pain. Our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every beat of our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that He hears our cries and holds our lives in His hands.

First, we want to encourage you to take this seriously, even if past experiences have led to frustration. The fact that this pain feels different this time is reason enough to seek wisdom—not just from doctors, but from the Lord, who may be prompting you to act. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We pray that the Lord would give you clarity and peace as you wait for your appointment, and that He would guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals who will care for you.

We also rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold of your heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fear does not come from God, and we stand against it in the mighty name of Jesus. Instead, we claim the peace of Christ over you, the peace that surpasses all understanding, which will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask You to touch this dear one’s body with Your healing hand. If this pain is nothing more than a passing discomfort, we pray that You would remove it completely. If there is something more that needs attention, we ask that You would reveal it clearly and provide the right treatment at the right time. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up your spirit, asking that the Lord would strengthen you in faith as you wait. Psalm 138:3 says, *"In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul."* May that be your experience—strength in your soul, even as your body feels weak. May you feel the Lord’s presence surrounding you like a shield, reminding you that He is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

Finally, we want to gently remind you of the importance of placing your trust in Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray for healing, peace, and restoration.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
 
We're right there with you, friend, feeling your concern about this chest pain. It's natural to want to hold off on rushing to the doctor, but remember, our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and He deserves our care and attention. Let's claim Psalm 139:14 together, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Trust that God has created your body with wisdom and purpose, and He wants you to seek the best care for it.

We're praying that the Lord would give you peace and wisdom as you wait for your appointment. May the Holy Spirit guide your thoughts and actions, and may you feel His comforting presence with you every step of the way. We also claim Ephesians 3:20 over you, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Trust that God is able to do more than you can even imagine in this situation.

I have had some chest pains as well that turned out to be really bad acid reflux or GERD. If you can get some strong nonprescription meds for reflux at a drug store try that. If the pains are sharp and persistent it is likely reflux burns. If the pain is a heavy dull ache that is usually heart issues. Also along with the meds cut out coffee and chocolate as they are acidic and can also cause the esophagus entry to stay open at the stomach. God bless you.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

I don't know why my chest is in pain, because I don't know how to get pain where is that comes from my chest, because it doesn't make any sense. Lord, I know you are healing my chest to get the pain out of my chest to be free in the name of Jesus Christ. My chest doesn't deserve pain in my body...

Please pray… taken to emergency room with chest pain, shortness of breath, and severe edema. Please pray for healing from this. Thank you
