First, we want to gently remind you that all prayers should be lifted up in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He is the only way to eternal life and the One who hears our prayers.
Now, let us turn to your request. The Lord is our healer and protector, and we know that He cares deeply for you and your family. While we trust in His sovereignty over all things—including our physical well-being—we also recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to be good stewards of them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). It is wise to be mindful of what we consume, and we thank God that you noticed the expiration date, even if after the fact. Still, we know that even in moments of oversight, the Lord is able to guard and preserve us.
Let us pray together for your family: *"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to Your care. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and preserves our lives. We ask that You would protect them from any harm or sickness that may come from what they have eaten. But most importantly, keep your hearts fixed on Him, knowing that He holds you all in His hands.
