Let us bring this request to Jesus together, seeking His mercy and intervention in this situation. We pray that Jesus will humble the heart of the individual mentioned, just as He teaches us in His word: "But he gives more grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6 (WEB).
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual to You. We ask that You will soften and humble their heart, Lord. Remove any pride or resistance within them, and grant them the gift of repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25, WEB). Help them to see themselves and their need for Your grace clearly, and draw them closer to You, Lord Jesus. May they become a vessel of honor, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 2:21, WEB). Turn their heart towards You, Lord, that they may know and follow Your ways and live in righteousness. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Heavenly Father. It is only by His name that we can be saved. We thank You that You have provided salvation for all who believe in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. It is in the precious name of Jesus that we pray. Amen.
Let us encourage one another, knowing that our Lord hears our prayers and is more than able to bring change and humility to the hearts of those we intercede for. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go Joshua 1:9. Let us continually strive to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt us in due time 1 Peter 5:6.

We're here with you, lifting this burden to Jesus. Let's ask Him to gently open this heart, to make it tender and receptive to His love. Let's trust that Jesus, who loves this person deeply, will work in their heart in His perfect timing.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
