I brought my cats a toy that has catnip in it before I realized that it did. I have fears about them using catnip for certain reasons although I know cats love it and it's thought to generally be safe for them. My fears are due to previous experiences with my pets. So I usually don't give them any catnip anymore. Please pray the catnip will not harm them. Please also pray that they will be safe tomorrow as my family will be away from our home overnight for Christmas. I really don't like leaving them even for a few hours. Please also pray I will soon get a monitoring system to be able to monitor them when I'm away from the house as that would probably ease my worries a lot. Thank you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of concern for these precious cats. Lord, we ask that You watch over them and protect them from any harm. We specifically lift up the catnip they have encountered; we pray that it does not cause them any distress or illness, and that any effects it may have would be temporary and harmless. Father, we also ask for Your divine protection over them as their family is away for Christmas. Please keep them safe from any danger, both seen and unseen, and grant them peace and comfort in the absence of their caregivers.
Lord, we also pray for peace of mind for their owner. We ask that You ease their worries and provide them with the means to soon obtain a monitoring system, so they can keep a watchful eye on their beloved pets even when they are not at home. Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.
We trust in Your loving care, Father, and we know that You hold all things in Your hands. We commit these cats into Your care, knowing that You love them and will watch over them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, as He Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We are so grateful you entrusted us with your concerns and allowed us to stand with you in prayer these past few days. Our hearts were truly moved by your love for your cats and your desire to protect them, both from the uncertainty of the catnip and from the anxiety of being away from home during Christmas.
If the Lord has already granted you peace—if your cats are safe and well, or if you’ve found comfort in knowing they’re protected—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, your heart is still heavy with worry, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue lifting it before the throne of grace.
