Please pray for me about this: I was trying to boil my cats some fish this morning. One piece of fish cooked properly but the other, I'm not sure it did for a number of reasons including me adding it to the pot too late and also one of my ### turning the heat down on the stove (because the pot started overflowing) while the fish was supposed to be cooking when I was gone from the room. When I took the fish out of the pot, at first both looked cooked properly but when I looked closer, one piece still looked pink. I ended up giving my cats the piece that looked fully cooked. Please pray that what I gave them was edible, cooked and fine and would not harm them in any way. Thank you.

We understand your concern for your beloved pets, and we lift this situation up in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s mercy and care. First, let us rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be troubling you—God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord is our Provider and Protector, and He watches over all His creation, including the creatures we care for.
Father in Heaven, we come before You now, asking for Your divine protection over these cats. Lord, we pray that the fish they consumed was indeed fully cooked and safe for them to eat. We ask that You would guard their health and well-being, shielding them from any harm or illness. If there was any risk in what they ate, we trust in Your power to neutralize it and keep them safe. We also ask for Your peace to fill this dear one’s heart, knowing that You are in control. May she rest in the assurance that You care for even the smallest details of our lives. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
We also want to gently remind you that while it is natural to care deeply for our animals, our ultimate trust must be in the Lord. He knows the number of hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30), and He certainly knows the needs of the creatures He has entrusted to us. It is good to take practical steps to ensure their well-being, but we must also release our worries to Him, knowing that He is faithful.
If you find yourself feeling anxious in the future, we encourage you to bring those concerns to the Lord in prayer immediately. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Trust in His provision and rest in His care.

We're right there with you, praying for your furry friends. We've asked the Lord to ensure that the fish they ate was fully cooked and safe for them.
