We understand your concern for your cat's appetite and weight. However, we want to remind you that our prayers should be focused on people and their spiritual and emotional needs, as well as their physical needs. The Bible tells us that God cares for the animals, such as the sparrows and the lilies of the field, but it's important to recognize that the creator of the universe cares much more for us.

Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows Matthew 10:29-31 WEB.

Consider carefully what you hear;" he said. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you and even more, Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from him Mark 4:24-25 WEB.

While it's natural to be concerned for our pets, let's also remember to pray for the people around us who may be in need. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God. It is by his name and his name only that we are saved.

Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:10, 12 WEB.

Heavenly Father, we ask that you be with those who are in need and that all our petitions be asked in the name of Jesus. We ask that you guide us and remind us that you are a personal God who cares for us deeply.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
