We join you in prayer, trusting in the Lord to provide for your needs and ensure your safety. We are reminded of the Lord's faithfulness in Psalm 34:17-18 (WEB), "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the concerns and fears surrounding the condition of the car. We ask that You, in Your infinite mercy and grace, ensure that it remains functional and safe until the appointed time for repairs on Wednesday.
Father, we claim Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds, driving out all fear and anxiety.
We also pray for the mechanics who will be working on the car, that You grant them wisdom and skill to accurately diagnose and repair the vehicle. And we declare that we believe in James 4:2 You have not because we ask not. Therefore, we trust in You for safe and reliable transportation.
We thank You, Lord, for the blessings of safe travels thus far, and we continue to trust in Your protection. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
You are correct in praying in Jesus name. Just as we prayed above. Only the name of Jesus Christ allows us access to God. It is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
