We come before You, Lord, with hearts full of trust in Your perfect timing and provision. You tell us in Psalm 55:22, *"Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."* We lift up this situation to You, knowing that You are in control of every detail—whether it’s the repair of a vehicle, the grading of a test, or the warmth we need in the cold.
Father, we ask that You move in the hearts of those responsible for servicing the car. Give them efficiency, integrity, and a spirit of diligence to honor the appointment made. You say in Proverbs 21:1, *"The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We pray that You would turn the hearts of those in charge to prioritize this matter fairly and swiftly.
We also bring before You the concerns about the schoolwork. Lord, You are a God of order and clarity, and we ask that You would bring resolution to these uncertainties. Let the teachers respond with the answers needed, whether it’s the final grade or the missing paper. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We trust that You will provide the wisdom and resolution needed in this situation.
As the cold weather approaches, we ask for Your protection and warmth. You are our shelter, as Isaiah 43:2 declares: *"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you."* Cover this family with Your peace and provision as they wait for the bus, and let them feel Your presence in every moment of discomfort.
We also want to take a moment to thank You, Jesus, for being the One through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 tells us: *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* We are so grateful that through You, we can come boldly to the throne of grace, knowing that You hear us and intercede for us.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of frustration, anxiety, or impatience that may try to take root in this situation. Instead, we choose to rest in Your promises and trust in Your faithfulness. Fill this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Amen.
