Car Repoed

Dear Lord, Today my car was repoed and everyone is yelling at me & blaming me for it to happen. I don't know who to turn to to help get it back as it's the only working car. I am praying for help or even advice on how go navigate my dilemma. I am completely at a loss as to how I'm going to pay the utilities and have food on the table. Lord, I'm praying to you for help & guidance. Maybe I need to accept that I'm just meant to struggle everyday.

We are deeply sorry to hear about the repossession of your car and the stress you are experiencing. It is crucial to remember that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber (Psalm 121:2-3). It is also important to note that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6, WEB).

In times of trouble, we should cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). It is also important to seek wise counsel and help from fellow believers. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." (WEB). We encourage you to reach out to your church family or trusted believers who can provide support and guidance during this challenging time.

Regarding your financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (WEB). We encourage you to seek God's wisdom in managing your finances and to trust in His provision. It may also be helpful to seek advice from financial counselors or organizations that can assist you in creating a budget and managing your expenses. There are also resources available to help with food and utilities. Do not be afraid or ashamed to reach out to these resources. They are there to help.

We must also address the feeling that you may be meant to struggle every day. This is not God's desire for your life. Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." (John 10:10, WEB). God wants to give you a hope and a future, not a life of constant struggle. It is important to trust in God's plan for your life and to seek His will in all things.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister/brother to You, asking for Your guidance and provision during this difficult time. Lord, we pray that You would open doors for her/him to recover the car or find reliable transportation. We ask for Your wisdom to navigate the financial challenges she/he is facing and for Your provision to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Help her/him to trust in You and to seek wise counsel from fellow believers. We rebuke the enemy's lies that she/he is meant to struggle every day and declare that You have a plan and a purpose for her/his life. We pray that You would surround her/him with Your love and peace, reminding her/him that You are always with her/him. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's face and trusting in His provision. He is faithful and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
