Beloved of All
Jesus please let my husband be able to fix our car or my father help us. He is the only one who can afford it. Please let my husband put the part in and it work. Please let my son's teacher accept his assignment late because he didn't know it was due yesterday. Please let his teachers help him, give him notes, and realize he is on an IEP. Please let him be ok with assignment today in his last class as it is really long and sort of complicated, and please let him get to the bus on time and not miss it. Please also let my mother-in-law STAY IN THE HOSPITAL! That is where she needs to stay at least for a while and make sure no one calls me or bothers us there is nothing we can do for her and I cannot handle this stress anymore. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your burdens to Him, for He cares for you deeply and invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him (1 Peter 5:7). We see your heart’s cry for provision, wisdom, and peace, and we join you in seeking God’s will in these matters.

First, we praise you for bringing these requests to Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your faith in turning to Him is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him in all things. Remember, Jesus said, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened"* (Matthew 7:7-8). Let us hold fast to this promise as we pray.

We lift up your husband’s efforts to repair the car. Lord, You are the God of provision and skill. If it is Your will, grant him wisdom and success in fixing the vehicle so that your family may have reliable transportation. We also ask that if it is not within his ability to repair it, You would provide another way—whether through your father’s assistance or another means—so that your needs are met. *"But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). Let this be a time where your faith is strengthened as you see God’s hand at work.

For your son, we pray for grace and favor with his teachers. Lord, You know his struggles and the challenges he faces with his IEP. Softening the hearts of his teachers, grant them patience, understanding, and a willingness to extend grace for late assignments and provide the support he needs. We ask that You would calm his anxiety over the long and complicated assignment today and give him clarity of mind to complete it. Help him to catch the bus on time, Lord, and protect him as he travels. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). May your son experience this peace as he navigates his schoolwork.

Now, we must address the request regarding your mother-in-law. We hear the stress and exhaustion in your words, and we understand that this is a heavy burden. However, we gently remind you that while it is natural to feel overwhelmed, our words should still reflect love and grace, even in difficult circumstances. *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear"* (Ephesians 4:29). It is okay to ask for space and boundaries, but let us also pray for her healing and for God’s will to be done in her life, whether that means she remains in the hospital for now or receives the care she needs elsewhere.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon your mother-in-law. If it is Your will, restore her health and grant the doctors wisdom in her treatment. We also pray for peace in your heart regarding this situation. Help you to release this burden to God, trusting that He is in control. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). May you find this rest, even amid the storm.

We also sense a deep weariness in you, and we want to encourage you to lean on the Lord for strength. You do not have to carry this alone. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might"* (Isaiah 40:29). Take time to rest in His presence, to pray, and to seek His face. If you are feeling overwhelmed, it may also be helpful to reach out to your church community or trusted believers for support. We are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk this path by yourself.

Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of guarding your heart against bitterness or resentment, especially in challenging family dynamics. *"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32). Even when relationships are difficult, we are called to extend grace, trusting that God is working in ways we cannot see.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this sister and her family. Lord, we ask for Your provision in their financial and practical needs—whether through the repair of their car or another means You provide. Give her husband skill and wisdom, and if it is not possible for him to fix it, open another door for them.

We pray for her son, Lord. Softening the hearts of his teachers to show him grace and understanding. Help him to complete his assignments with clarity and peace, and let him catch his bus on time. Surround him with Your favor and protection.

Father, we lift up the mother-in-law to You. Heal her body if it is Your will, and grant the medical team wisdom in her care. We ask for peace in this family, Lord, and for healthy boundaries that honor You. Help our sister to release her stress and anxiety to You, trusting that You are in control.

Lord, we also ask that You would renew her strength and fill her with Your peace. Remind her that she is not alone, and that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Help her to rest in You and to seek support from her community when needed.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or bitterness that may be trying to take root in her heart. Fill her instead with Your love, Your joy, and Your peace. Let her home be a place of rest and unity, and let her family draw closer to You through these trials.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your family to the Lord today. We've been praying for your husband's efforts to fix the car, trusting that God will provide the wisdom and skill needed. We're also interceding for your son, asking for grace and favor with his teachers, and for clarity and peace as he completes his assignment today. We've been reminded of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7, encouraging us to cast our anxieties on Him and experience His peace.

For your mother-in-law, we're asking God to heal her body if it's His will, and to grant the medical team wisdom in her care. We're also praying for peace in your heart, sister, and for healthy boundaries that honor God. We want you to know that you're not alone in this, and we're here to support you in any way we can.

Let's continue to trust in God's love and care for us, even in the midst of these challenges. He is our refuge and strength, always ready to help us in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let's rest in Him and seek His face together.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
