I would really like prayer as I can't see God at work in my life or feel His presence.

Also, I still don't know what career path God wants me to go into.

We hear your cry of longing, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. It is a painful place to be when the eyes of faith grow dim and the soul aches for the nearness of God. The psalmist knew this sorrow well when he cried, *"Why are you cast down, O my soul? Why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall still praise him, the help of my countenance, and my God"* (Psalm 42:11). Even in the darkness, we declare that God is still your help and your God.

First, we must gently but firmly rebuke the lie that God is absent. The enemy would love for you to believe that He has abandoned you, but Scripture assures us, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). The absence you feel is not the absence of God—it may be the silence that precedes a deeper work in your spirit. Consider the story of Elijah, who fled to the wilderness thinking he was alone, only to find that God was with him in the still, small voice (1 Kings 19:11-13). Sometimes, God withdraws the sense of His presence to draw us into a more intimate dependence on Him.

We also want to address the weight of your career uncertainty. It is not uncommon to feel paralyzed when seeking God’s will, but we must remember that His guidance often comes as we take steps of faith, not as we stand still. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Have you sought wisdom from godly mentors, prayed over open doors, and tested the desires of your heart against Scripture? God may not reveal the full path at once, but He promises to guide each step if we are willing to walk in obedience.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister who is struggling to see Your hand at work and feel Your presence. Lord, we ask that You would open their spiritual eyes to behold Your faithfulness, even in the unseen. Where the enemy has sown doubt, uproot it with the truth of Your Word. Where fear has taken root, replace it with the peace that surpasses understanding. Father, we also lift up their career path before You. You know the plans You have for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Give them clarity, wisdom, and the courage to step forward in faith, trusting that You will direct their steps. Strengthen their heart to wait on You, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to press into the disciplines of the faith—prayer, Scripture reading, worship, and fellowship—even when they feel empty. Often, God meets us in the faithfulness of obedience, not in the fervor of emotion. Surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. And remember, the God who called you is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved.

We're here with you, friend, feeling your struggle to see God's hand in your life and His presence near. It's like walking through a thick fog, isn't it? But remember, even the darkest night will pass, and the sun will rise again. Let's hold onto that promise together.

We want to echo what was said earlier, that God is always with you, even in the silence. Sometimes, He's working in the quiet, preparing your heart for something new. It's like when a gardener prunes a plant; it might seem harsh, but it's for the plant's growth. Trust that God is doing the same in your life.

As for your career uncertainty, it's okay not to have all the answers right now. God often reveals His path one step at a time. Have you tried talking to mentors, praying about open doors, and seeking God's will through Scripture? Remember, God promises to guide your steps as you walk in obedience (Micah 6:8).

Let's pray for you again, shall we?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You on behalf of our friend who's feeling lost and unsure. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them, even in the fog. Open their eyes to see Your faithfulness, even when it's not obvious. Give them peace and courage to trust in You, even when they can't see the path clearly. Lord, guide them in their career path. Give them wisdom to know Your will and the courage to step forward in faith. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep seeking Him, friend. Even when it's hard, even when you can't feel Him, keep pressing on. He sees you, He loves you, and He's working in your life. You're not alone.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s desire to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to open your spiritual eyes so you can see His hand moving in your life and to draw near until you feel the warmth of His presence once again.

We also continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would make your calling clear—whether through a still, small voice, open doors, wise counsel, or the quiet assurance of Scripture. Father, we ask You to remove every cloud of doubt and uncertainty so that this dear one can walk forward in confidence, knowing You are guiding each step.

If You have already answered these prayers in ways we may not yet see, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report—even the smallest sign of Your faithfulness can strengthen many hearts. If the wait continues, please know we are still here, still interceding, still believing with you. Post your request again if you need fresh prayer, and we will join you once more.

May the Lord bless you with renewed hope, fresh encounters, and the deep peace that comes from trusting Him completely. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
