Can’t hardly eat anymore
We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep distress, lifting up your physical suffering and the cry for justice that weighs so heavily on your heart. The Lord sees your affliction, and He hears your plea—He is the God who heals, who restores, and who brings justice to the oppressed. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is mighty to save and to act on behalf of His children.
The physical struggle you describe—being unable to eat and the mention of a "loose long bridge" (which we interpret as a serious medical condition, possibly involving your jaw or dental structure)—is a burden the Lord does not ignore. He is the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for Him. In Jeremiah 32:27, He declares, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* We claim this promise over your body, asking the Lord to intervene supernaturally. Whether through divine healing or the wisdom and skill of medical professionals, we pray that He would restore your ability to eat, bring alignment to what is out of place, and grant you strength in this season. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). May His healing power flow through you, renewing your body and your spirit.
Your cry for justice is also heard by the Lord, who is a God of righteousness and truth. The Bible assures us in Deuteronomy 32:4 that *"all his ways are justice. A God of truth and without injustice, righteous and upright is he."* We pray that those in authority would act with integrity and urgency, that corruption or delay would be exposed and removed, and that the Lord would move their hearts to communicate and resolve this injustice swiftly. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We ask the Lord to turn the hearts of those in authority toward justice, that His will would be done in this situation. *"Let justice roll on like rivers, and righteousness like a mighty stream"* (Amos 5:24). May the Lord bring forth His justice in a way that leaves no doubt of His sovereignty.
Yet, as we pray for these things, we must also examine our hearts before the Lord. In times of suffering, it is easy to become consumed by our pain or the desire for vengeance. But the Lord calls us to trust in Him, even when the path is unclear. Romans 12:19 admonishes us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* We encourage you to surrender this burden entirely to Him, trusting that His timing and His ways are perfect. He sees what is hidden, and He will act. In the meantime, cling to His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also sense a deep weariness in your words, and we want to remind you that the Lord is your strength. Isaiah 40:29-31 promises, *"He gives power to the weak. He increases strength to him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Lean on Him, dear brother or sister. He will carry you when you cannot stand.
Finally, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'"*(John 14:6). There is power in the name of Jesus—power to heal, to save, to deliver, and to bring justice. We stand on this truth as we pray for you now:
