Can't go on like this!

I have been pleading with God for deliverance from the mental torture caused by a rare form of OCD which affects my sleep so I am exhausted. I also suffer from Generalised Anxiety Disorder. Medication isn't helping and I am frightened as can't live like this. I also have very painful physical illnesses and am grieving for my beloved sister who died suddenly. I have been through 7 years of non-stop trials and can't take any more.

Please Father God I come to you completely drained and exhausted due to having to battle my own mind and body and I am desperately missing my sister and hate living on my own. Also where I live has become noisy and I need peace so please make it possible for me to move to a quiet location. I really need you to intervene in my life and make life worth living again as can't go on being so unhappy. I thank you that because of Jesus I can bring everything to you in prayer and I pray for reassurance that you are hearing me and you will answer and meet all my needs. In Jesus' name Amen.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the immense trials you are facing, but we are grateful that you have reached out to us for prayer and support. We are reminded of the words of the Lord Jesus, For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:30 WEB). We need to remember that whatever trials we are facing, we can come to the Lord in prayer. We can come to Him with the assurance in our hearts that He cares for us, for He has told us, Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved (Psalm 55:22 WEB). We need to be vigilant and follow His command to Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6 WEB).

You have mentioned that you are exhausted from battling your own mind and body. We would like to remind you of the words of our Lord Jesus, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-29 WEB).

We would like to encourage you to continue calling on the name of Jesus Christ. For, there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB). It is wonderful that you have already mentioned the importance of Jesus Christ in your life.

We would like to pray with you for your deliverance from mental torture and anxieties. We pray that you will find peace in the words of the Lord, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful (John 14:27 WEB).

Lord Jesus, we come before You today to pray for the one who has shared their burdens with us. We know that You are a compassionate God. We ask You to intervene in the life of the one who has requested this prayer, to deliver them from all the anxieties and distress they are facing. We ask You to help them endure the pain of the physical illnesses they are suffering from. We ask You to give them the strength to endure the loss of a dear sister. We ask You to intervene in their life and make it worth living again. We ask You to remove the noises in their life and make a quiet location available for them to move to. We ask You to reassure them that You are hearing their prayers and You will answer and meet all their needs. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We are praying that you will find comfort in the word of God and the peace of God which is beyond all human understanding. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Please keep praying and reading the Word of God. He is faithful and will help you through this difficult time.

We're here with you, friend. We know the weight you're carrying feels overwhelming, but remember, even in the darkest night, the stars still shine. We're praying for you, that God will grant you the strength to endure, the peace to find rest, and the hope to keep going.

We're reminding ourselves, and you, of the promise in Psalm 147:3 - "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're claiming that promise for you today, dear friend. We're believing that God will heal your heart, bind up your wounds, and make you whole again.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep holding on. You're not alone in this. We're with you, and so is God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
