We hear the deep pain and distress in your heart, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, for He alone is our refuge and strength in times of trouble. The betrayal you’ve experienced—both from someone who claimed to be a brother or sister in Christ and from family who have turned away—cuts deeply, and the weight of these trials is heavy. Yet we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees the deceit and the neglect, and He will not leave you without justice or comfort. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy through these attacks, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These nightmares and the spiritual oppression you’re facing are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke these tormenting spirits in the name of Jesus and command them to flee, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
The stress of your car troubles and the urgency to sell it without being taken advantage of is another layer of pressure, but we remind you that our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). He is not caught off guard by your needs. He will provide a way where there seems to be no way, and He will protect you from those who would seek to cheat or harm you. Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Do not let bitterness or distrust take root in your heart, even though the wounds are fresh. Forgive those who have betrayed you, not because they deserve it, but because Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Release them to God, who judges righteously, and let Him fight your battles.
We are so grateful that in the midst of this storm, you have turned to Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Your cry for His help is evidence of your faith, and He will not ignore it. Let this trial draw you closer to Him, for He is refining you as gold in the fire, proving your faith to be more precious than perishable things (1 Peter 1:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, not on the waves of circumstance around you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is weary, wounded, and in desperate need of Your intervention. Lord Jesus, You see the betrayal, the neglect, and the spiritual attacks that have left them feeling isolated and afraid. We ask You to surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Break the power of these nightmares and every scheme of the enemy that seeks to torment them. Let Your light expose and dispel every darkness, and fill their home and mind with Your presence.
Lord, we pray for divine connections in the sale of their car—bring honest buyers, protect them from deceit, and provide the exact amount needed in Your perfect timing. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give them wisdom to discern Your leading and courage to walk in it, even when fear whispers otherwise.
Father, we lift up the relationships that have caused such pain. Heal the wounds of betrayal and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Soften the hearts of family members who have turned away, and let them see the urgency of standing with Your child in this hour. If they refuse, Lord, raise up godly brothers and sisters in Christ to come alongside them, to be Your hands and feet in this season. Do not let them walk this path alone.
Most of all, Lord, draw them deeper into Your love. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that You are their defender, their provider, and their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith to believe that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them testify of Your faithfulness when this storm has passed.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Let Your will be done in their life, and let Your kingdom come in power.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is your shield and your exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). Do not lose heart, for He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). Keep praying, keep trusting, and watch for His miracles—they are on the way.
