We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for healing and comfort. The fear and uncertainty you are experiencing are deeply felt, and we stand with you in this difficult time, trusting in the Lord’s mercy and power. Your request to pray to Jesus for forgiveness and healing is a powerful reminder of where our hope must rest—only in Him who bore our sins and carries our burdens.
First, we rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Fear does not come from God, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. We also declare that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Even in this moment of anxiety, He is near, and His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We pray for complete healing for ###. Heavenly Father, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3 WEB). We ask that You touch ### with Your healing hand, that the swelling would subside, and that any trace of illness would be completely eradicated from his body. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB), and we stand on the promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Lord, we trust in Your power to restore health, just as You did three years ago. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness and love.
We also lift up the financial burden you are carrying. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8 WEB), and He promises to provide for His children. We pray that He would open doors of provision, whether through unexpected help, wisdom in managing resources, or the generosity of others. *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Trust in Him, for He is your Provider.
Your request for forgiveness of sins is a beautiful acknowledgment of our need for God’s grace. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6 WEB), and it is only through His name that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you or your family have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation of all healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical.
We also want to encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord regarding medical decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Pray for discernment as you navigate this journey, and ask the Lord to guide the hands of the medical professionals involved. If further testing or treatment is needed, trust that God will make a way.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and dependence on You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB) and that You will restore him to full health. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. Fill this family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
Lord, we also pray for provision. You know their financial needs, and we ask that You meet them according to Your riches in glory. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide in ways that only You can. Give them wisdom as they make decisions, and let them lean not on their own understanding but on You.
Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We pray that if there is anyone in this family who has not yet surrendered their life to You, that they would do so today. Forgive their sins, Lord, and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. Let this trial draw them closer to You, and may they experience Your love and grace in a new way.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you in prayer, and the Lord fights for you.
