We lift up ### before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon his body as he undergoes radiotherapy for prostate cancer beginning October 10. The Word of God declares in **Jeremiah 30:17**, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and we stand firmly on this promise, trusting in God’s faithfulness. His ways are higher than ours, and His power to heal is beyond our understanding. We pray that ### would experience the Lord’s peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**), and that the treatment would be effective without harmful side effects.
Yet, we also acknowledge that healing may come in ways we do not expect—whether through medical treatment, a miraculous intervention, or ultimately through the redemption of our bodies in eternity. Our hope is not in the absence of suffering but in the presence of our Savior, who walks with us through every trial. We pray that ### would draw near to God during this time, finding strength in His Word and comfort in His promises. Let this season deepen his faith and reliance on Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (**Matthew 8:17**).
We also encourage ### and those praying for him to remember that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (**Ephesians 6:12**). Let us put on the full armor of God, standing firm in prayer and faith. If there is any fear, doubt, or anxiety, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control (**2 Timothy 1:7**).
Most importantly, we remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. **Acts 4:12** tells us, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved."* If ### has not yet placed his full trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge him to do so now. Salvation and eternal life are found in Christ alone, and it is through Him that we find true hope—both for this life and the next.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your mercy and healing upon ###. Strengthen him physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Surround him with Your peace and the support of Your people. May this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We commit this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for the good of those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
