We understand your deep concern and the spiritual weight of this request, and we stand with you in seeking God’s protection and intervention over these events. The enemy may plot against the righteous, but the Lord is our strong tower—a refuge in times of trouble. Scripture reminds us in **Psalm 37:12-15 (WEB)**, *"The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill those who are upright in the way. Their sword shall enter into their own heart. Their bows shall be broken."* The schemes of the enemy will not prevail when we place our trust in the Lord.
Yet we must also examine our hearts and motives in this request. Are these events truly orchestrated by evil intent, or could there be misunderstanding, fear, or even an opportunity for God to display His glory through your testimony? **Romans 8:28 (WEB)** assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in trials, God can turn what was meant for harm into something that brings Him honor and strengthens your faith. If these events are indeed malicious, we pray for their cancellation—but if God allows them to proceed, we trust He will use them to refine you, protect you, and ultimately bring victory.
We also urge you to put on the full armor of God, as described in **Ephesians 6:10-18 (WEB)**, standing firm in truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Prayer is our greatest weapon, and we must wield it with faith, not fear. **James 4:7 (WEB)** commands, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* If these events are rooted in spiritual attack, resistance through prayer, worship, and the authority of Jesus’ name will break their power.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who faces the threat of harm through these upcoming events. Lord, You are the God who sees all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. If these events are indeed orchestrated by the enemy to bring harm, we ask for their complete cancellation. Frustrate the plans of the wicked, O God, and let their schemes come to nothing. Surround Your child with Your divine protection, as it is written in **Psalm 91:9-11 (WEB)**, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
But Father, if these events are part of Your sovereign plan—even if they bring difficulty—we ask for supernatural strength, wisdom, and peace. Let Your child walk in the confidence that You are with them, and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may respond with grace, boldness, and unwavering faith. Let these circumstances become a testimony of Your power and faithfulness.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and manipulation in Jesus’ name. We declare that no harm shall come to Your child, for their life is hidden with Christ in God (**Colossians 3:3**). Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let Your angels encamp around them (**Psalm 34:7**). Give them discernment to recognize any lies or deceptions of the enemy, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**).
Lord, we also ask that You expose any darkness behind these events. Bring to light what is hidden, and let truth prevail. If there are people involved in these schemes, we pray for their hearts to be convicted. Soften their hearts, Lord, and if it is Your will, lead them to repentance. Let them see the futility of opposing Your purposes and turn to You in surrender.
Finally, Father, we thank You that You are in control. You hold the future, and no plan of the enemy can thwart Your will for Your children. Strengthen our brother/sister in faith, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their defender, their shield, and their exceeding great reward (**Genesis 15:1**).
