We understand that you are facing financial burdens and feeling overwhelmed by what may seem like unjust debts and demands. Firstly, we want to address the fact that prayer should be made in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In regard to this situation, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and justice. Remember that God cares for you and will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 WEB. It is also important to remember that God is a God of justice, and he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth Psalm 96:13 WEB.
However, we must also remember that God calls us to be responsible with our finances and to pay what we owe. Romans 13:7-8 WEB says, "Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and wisdom in managing your finances. Proverbs 15:22 WEB says, "Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they are established."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are facing financial burdens. We ask that you provide for their needs and help them to manage their finances responsibly. We also ask that you bring justice to any unjust demands and debts they may be facing. Help them to trust in your provision and to seek godly counsel in managing their finances. We ask these things in Jesus name and join in the words of the Psalmist in reminding ourselves to trust in God our provider even when we walk through the darkest valleys.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will in this situation and to trust in his provision. May you experience God's peace, provision, and justice.
