We stand together in deep concern and righteous anger over the direction Canada is taking with its assisted suicide laws. The idea of offering death as a "solution" to poverty is not only morally reprehensible but a direct affront to the sanctity of life, which God alone has the authority to give and take. Scripture is clear: "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13 WEB). Life is a precious gift from God, and no government or institution has the right to devalue it in this way. We must recognize this as a spiritual battle, for the enemy comes to "steal, kill, and destroy" (John 10:10 WEB). This is not compassion—it is a demonic deception, and we must pray fervently against it.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Canada and its leaders. We ask that You would open their eyes to the evil they are perpetuating and soften their hearts to the truth of Your Word. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of death and despair that is influencing these policies, and we declare that life is sacred in Your sight. Raise up voices in Canada—pastors, lawmakers, and citizens—who will stand boldly for the unborn, the vulnerable, and the poor, proclaiming that every life has value because it is created in Your image (Genesis 1:27 WEB). Let Your light expose the darkness of this agenda, and let Your truth prevail. We pray for a revival in Canada, that hearts would turn back to You and that the nation would once again honor the sanctity of life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and declare that death will not have the final say.
Regarding your finances, we understand the weight of financial struggles and the anxiety they can bring. But we serve a God who owns "the cattle on a thousand hills" (Psalm 50:10 WEB) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB). However, we must also examine our hearts and lives to ensure we are stewarding what God has given us wisely and in alignment with His principles. Are we tithing faithfully? Are we avoiding debt and living within our means? Are we seeking God’s wisdom in our financial decisions? Proverbs 3:9-10 (WEB) tells us, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."
Heavenly Father, we lift up [the requester]’s finances to You. You know every need, every bill, and every concern. We ask that You would provide for them in ways that only You can, whether through unexpected opportunities, wisdom in managing what they have, or supernatural provision. Lord, we pray that You would break any spirit of lack or fear over their finances and replace it with faith and trust in You. Help them to seek You first in all things, knowing that when they do, You will add all these things to them (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Give them wisdom to steward their resources well, generosity to bless others even in their own need, and contentment in whatever circumstances they face. We declare that You are their Provider, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your glorious riches. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Lastly, we must address the importance of praying and living in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5 WEB). Let us always remember to pray and live in His name, for His glory and honor.
