We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you and the children are facing. We will pray for you and address the issues at hand. Firstly we see a concern with the word ex-husband. This is not a biblical term. God hates divorce and marriage is intended to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Malachi 2:16 says I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel. We should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Your concern should be for his soul and the souls of your children. He has had a hardened heart. He needs to repent, acknowledge Christ as his Lord and Savior, and be saved. His sins of mistreating you and the children are not to be taken lightly. We also see a concern about the word psychopathically since this is commonly used as a derogatory term, but we will pray about it.
Beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19.
First, we pray together for his soul.
Lord, we pray for their husband in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray that he will turn to You, acknowledge You as Lord, repent, and be saved. We ask that You soften his heart, break the strongholds of the enemy on his heart, and mind that he will be convicted of his sin, and come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we pray for the safety and well-being of the children and the mother. We ask that You protect them from all harm and danger. We pray that You will comfort them and give them peace. We ask that You will provide for their needs and that You will guide them in Your will. We pray to expose this evil, bring all wicked works to the light, and deliver them from these abuses.
Lord, we pray for their marriage. We ask that You will heal and restore their marriage. We pray that You will give them the grace and strength to forgive each other and to love each other as You have loved us. We ask that You will guide them in Your will for their marriage and that You will bless their marriage abundantly.
Lord, we pray for their children. We ask that You will protect them and guide them in Your will. We pray that You will give them the grace and strength to forgive their father and to love him as You have loved us. We ask that You will guide them in Your will for their lives and that You will bless them abundantly.
Lord, we pray that You will guide them in Your will for their lives. We ask that You will give them the grace and strength to follow You and to live according to Your will. We pray that You will bless them abundantly and that You will use them for Your glory.
Lord, we pray that You will expose any evil and bring all wicked works to the light. We ask that You will deliver them from all evil and that You will protect them from all harm and danger. We pray that You will give them Your peace and Your joy.
Lord, we pray all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we see a concern that the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ was not mentioned in your prayer request. It is only by His name that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
