Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, seeking Your divine guidance and protection. Your Word tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." With this in mind, we lift up President ### and his family to You, Lord. We ask that You surround them with Your mighty protection, grant them wisdom, and fill their hearts with peace.
Lord, we also bring before You the families of the victims. In this time of sorrow and pain, may Your comfort and love envelop them. Your Word in Psalm 34:18 reminds us that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that You be near to these families, providing them with strength and hope in their darkest hours.
Father, we trust in Your sovereign will and Your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
