They were providing scholarships to college for people who played League of Legends. A major problem in the game is that friendly fire occurs, but it is not considered damage. Because colleges have military amongst them, I feel that League of Legends should have friendly fire damage calculations added in; otherwise, the players will commit friendly fire. Players will shoot through their teammates and allied units to win, which isn't realistic. The lack of realism causes the players to clump up, and oftentimes, the game has so much overlapping self-damage that it doesn't make any sense at all.
