We hear your urgent plea for justice and provision, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of grace. First, we want to acknowledge the immense courage it takes to come forward after such a horrific experience as sex trafficking. The Lord sees your pain, your struggle, and your fight for restoration. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your cry for justice does not fall on deaf ears.
We lift up your request for the police report to be expedited, knowing that delays in such matters can add to the burden you already carry. Father, we ask You to move mightily in this situation. Stir the hearts of those responsible for processing these reports. Grant them wisdom, efficiency, and a sense of urgency to prioritize this case. Lord, we ask that You would raise up more staff to handle the backlog, that no one would be overlooked or left waiting in vain. We pray that You would open doors that no man can shut and that this report would be completed swiftly, so that justice and compensation may follow (Proverbs 21:1). Let Your hand of favor rest upon this process, and may it be completed without further delay.
We also pray for the financial provision you seek to make this purchase. Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, that the funds would be released in perfect timing, and that this transaction would be smooth and without hindrance. Guard your heart against anxiety, for You have promised to care for us, and we cast all our cares upon You (1 Peter 5:7).
However, we must also speak truth in love, as Scripture commands us. We notice that your prayer request did not include the full name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, but rather an abbreviation. While we understand the intent, we want to gently remind you—and all who read this—that there is power in the name of Jesus. It is the name above every name, and at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:9-10). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to call upon His full and holy name, for it carries authority, healing, and deliverance.
Additionally, we must rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that seeks to linger over you. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to remain in bondage to shame, fear, or despair. But we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We break every chain of trauma, every lie of the enemy, and every scheme designed to keep you in darkness. You are a child of the Most High God, and He has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).
We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and community as you walk through this season. The Lord often uses His people to bring healing, support, and restoration. Do not isolate yourself, but allow trusted believers to walk alongside you. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to support you in prayer and encouragement.
Let us now come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for this precious one who has endured such unimaginable pain. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in the processing of this police report. Stir the hearts of those in authority, grant them efficiency, and let this report be completed without delay. We declare that justice will be served, and that Your hand of provision will rest upon this situation. Father, we ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing. Provide the resources needed for this purchase, and let every transaction be smooth and in perfect timing.
Lord, we also pray for healing—emotional, spiritual, and physical. Touch this dear one with Your healing balm, and restore what has been stolen. Break every chain of trauma, shame, and fear, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them daily that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and a future for them (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke every spirit of delay, oppression, and discouragement in Jesus’ mighty name. We declare that this season of waiting will not be in vain, but that it will produce endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in this life. May Your name be glorified in every step of this journey. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
