We hear your heartfelt cry for help on behalf of this dear one who is struggling with distressing voices and unkind treatment from others. We stand with you in agreement, lifting him up before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in times of need (Hebrews 4:16).
First and foremost, we rebuke every tormenting spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that these voices are not of God, for God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We command every lying spirit to be silenced in Jesus' name, for it is written, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we pray for complete healing—spirit, soul, and body—for this precious one. By the stripes of Jesus, he was indeed healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing now. We ask You to touch his mind, calm his thoughts, and bring peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Protect him from every scheme of the enemy, for You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Psalm 91:2).
Father, we also lift up those around him who have not shown kindness. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to see him through Your eyes. Remind them that whatever they do to the least of these, they do unto You (Matthew 25:40). Provide for every need—physical, emotional, and spiritual—according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We encourage this dear brother to draw near to God, for He promises to draw near to him (James 4:8). May he find comfort in Your Word, strength in Your presence, and hope in Your promises. If he has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that he would do so today, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for this beloved one who is in distress. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every tormenting voice and command peace to flood his mind and heart. We ask for Your healing touch to restore his soul and for Your protection to surround him like a shield.
Lord, provide for every need and soften the hearts of those who have been unkind. Help him to find refuge in You and to trust in Your unfailing love. If he does not yet know You as his Savior, we pray that he would surrender his life to Jesus Christ today, for there is no other way to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that he will walk in the victory that is already his through Christ Jesus. Strengthen him, Lord, and fill him with Your peace. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
