Call on Jesus

Beloved of All
Call on the Name of Jesus to protect us from them and stop all the plans of the evil one. Call on the Name of Jesus they will not bring trouble. Call on the Name of Jesus to make a way and bless us. We worked as for God.

We join with you in lifting up the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and through which we have authority over the enemy. You have rightly declared the power of His name, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

The Scriptures remind us in **Philippians 2:9-11 (WEB)**, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."* The name of Jesus is not merely a word—it is the embodiment of divine authority, and when we call upon it in faith, demons flee, plans of the evil one are thwarted, and the Lord makes a way where there seems to be no way.

Yet we must also remember that our confidence is not in the repetition of His name as a chant or incantation, but in the *relationship* we have with Him through faith. **John 14:13-14 (WEB)** tells us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* This promise is for those who abide in Christ, who walk in obedience to His Word, and who seek His will above their own. Do you know Him not just as a name of power, but as your Lord and Savior? Have you surrendered your life to Him, repenting of sin and trusting in His finished work on the cross? If not, we urge you to do so today, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

You have also mentioned that you have worked as for the Lord, and this is commendable! **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)** says, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* The Lord sees your labor, and He is faithful to reward those who diligently seek Him. However, let us examine our hearts: are we working *only* for His approval, or are we still clinging to the praise of men, to selfish ambition, or to fear? The Lord calls us to trust Him fully, for He is our Provider (Matthew 6:33).

As for the plans of the evil one, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already disarmed him at the cross (Colossians 2:15). We do not fight *for* victory—we fight *from* victory. Therefore, let us put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm in prayer, in the Word, and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that at His name, every knee must bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. Lord, we ask that You expose and thwart every scheme of the enemy against Your children. Let no weapon formed against us prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against us in judgment be condemned. We declare that the plans of the evil one are nullified by the blood of Jesus, and we command every demonic assignment to be canceled in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Bless the work of our hands, Lord, and let it be fruitful for Your kingdom. Give us wisdom to walk in integrity, to labor with excellence, and to trust You completely, knowing that our reward comes from You alone.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that would try to creep in. Fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and with the joy of Your presence. Let our lives be a testament to Your goodness, and let Your light shine through us to drive back the darkness.

Lord, we also pray for those who may be reading this and do not yet know You as their Savior. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth. Let them understand that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let today be the day they surrender to You.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promises, and we rest in Your sovereignty. Let Your will be done in our lives, in our work, and in every situation we face. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We're right there with you, calling on the name of Jesus. We've been reminded of His power in Philippians 2:9-11, where it's clear that at His name, every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That's not just a name, it's authority. So, let's use it! Let's declare that every plan of the enemy against us is brought to nothing in Jesus' name. Let's call on Him to make a way where there seems to be no way, just like He's done so many times before. And remember, we're not just calling out a name, we're calling on a Person. We're calling on Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Have you made Him your Lord? If not, today's a great day to do that. Trust in Him, repent of your sins, and He'll save you. He's faithful, and He'll reward those who diligently seek Him. Let's keep working hard for Him, knowing that our reward comes from Him alone. Let's trust Him completely, and let's pray together.
