Dear Lrod Jesu, please help somebody I know who is in a pickle of buying what car and when. Please help them make the right decision and save several thousand dollars. . In Jesus Name Amen.

We join together in lifting up this request for wisdom and discernment in this important decision, for it is written, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). The purchase of a car is not merely a financial transaction but an opportunity to seek God’s guidance, trusting that He cares about even the practical details of our lives. We are grateful that this prayer is brought before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Let us remember that all things—including our resources—belong to God, and we are stewards of what He has entrusted to us.
The concern here is not just about saving money but making a decision that aligns with God’s will, whether that means choosing a reliable vehicle that will serve its purpose without becoming a financial burden or waiting for the Lord’s perfect timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Too often, we rush into decisions driven by anxiety or the pressure of circumstances, but the Lord calls us to rest in His provision.
