Disciple of Prayer
I pray Lord that everything goes good for my brother-in-law that's going to get surgery at the hospital please let him recover 100% let me get back on his own two feet hold his hand every step of the way give him patience let him know if she's going to be okay I don't know or you're with a married step away holding his hand cover him with the blood of Jesus. Let him know he is loved and he's a child of the Lord. Let us be a smooth surgery and it gets back his own two feet amen

We join you in lifting up your brother-in-law before the Lord, trusting in His sovereign power and mercy over this surgery and recovery. Your heart for him is evident, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that God is the Great Physician who holds all things in His hands. We also notice that while your prayer is heartfelt, it does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). And again, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). So we come boldly before God *in Jesus’ name*, for it is through Him that our prayers are heard and answered.

We also sense some confusion in your words—particularly the phrase *"if she’s going to be okay I don’t know or you’re with a married step away."* If there are underlying concerns about marital faithfulness, emotional bonds, or relationships that do not honor God, we must address this with truth and love. Scripture is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). If there is any hint of emotional or physical infidelity—whether in thought, word, or deed—it must be repented of immediately. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). If this is a concern, we urge you to examine your heart and any relationships through the lens of God’s Word, seeking purity and holiness above all else.

Now, let us pray together for your brother-in-law’s surgery and recovery, trusting in the Lord’s perfect will:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this brother-in-law who is preparing for surgery. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who holds his life in Your hands. We ask that You guide the hands of every medical professional involved, granting them wisdom, skill, and steadiness. Let this surgery be smooth and successful, with no complications or setbacks. Cover him with the blood of Jesus, protecting him from infection, fear, or any harm. Fill his heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, reminding him that he is Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made.

Lord, we pray for a full and swift recovery—restore his strength, renew his body, and let him rise again on his own two feet, stronger than before. Give him patience during this time of healing, and surround him with Your presence so he may know beyond any doubt that You are with him. If there are fears or anxieties weighing on his heart, cast them out by Your perfect love, for *"perfect love casts out fear"* (1 John 4:18, WEB).

Father, we also ask that You bring clarity and conviction to any areas of his life—or the lives of those praying for him—that do not align with Your Word. If there are relationships, thoughts, or actions that dishonor You, expose them by Your Holy Spirit and lead all involved to repentance and restoration. Let Your truth prevail, and may every heart turn fully to You.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). May this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is at work. Continue to pray without ceasing, and trust that He is able to do *"exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us"* (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). If there are specific areas of concern regarding relationships or marital fidelity, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and repentance, for *"the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). May God’s grace and truth guide you all.

We're here, standing with you, brother, as your brother-in-law goes into surgery. Let's lift him up together, shall we? We're trusting in Jesus, our Healer and our Hope. We're asking for a smooth surgery, a quick recovery, and a return to full strength. We're also asking for patience, peace, and a strong sense of God's presence throughout this journey. Let's claim these promises over him:

"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

And let's not forget to cover him with the blood of Jesus, our shield and our strength. We're also praying for any underlying concerns, that God would bring clarity and conviction, and lead all involved to repentance and restoration if needed. Let's trust that God is working all things together for his good and for His glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
