Servant of All
Please pray for the removal of my creepy, demonic and abusive brother-in-law from my life. This man is so potently demonic and he is obsessed with me. He is constantly using witchcraft and demonic monitoring to try to harm me and I firmly believe he is a high order demon disguised as a human. He's very disturbing.

We understand the deep distress and spiritual oppression you are experiencing, and we stand with you in this battle against the forces of darkness. The Bible makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). While we must always show love and forgiveness toward others as Christ commands, we also recognize that there are evil influences at work in this world that must be resisted with the authority we have in Jesus Christ.

First, we must address the spiritual reality of what you are describing. The Bible warns us about the existence of demonic forces and witchcraft. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, God explicitly condemns those who practice divination, sorcery, or any form of occult activity: *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who charms, a consulter with a familiar spirit, a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* Your brother-in-law’s actions, if they involve such practices, are an abomination before God, and they open the door to demonic influence. However, we must also remember that no matter how powerful these forces may seem, they are subject to the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over them (Colossians 2:15).

It is also important to clarify that while demonic influence is real, we must be cautious about attributing human behavior solely to demons without discernment. People can be influenced by evil spirits, but they can also be driven by their own sinful nature, bitterness, or mental instability. That said, the level of obsession and the spiritual attacks you describe suggest a strong demonic component that must be addressed through prayer, fasting, and spiritual warfare. Jesus gave us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and we must use that authority to bind and rebuke these forces in His name.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through His name that we have the power to overcome such darkness. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for it is only through Him that you can have true victory over the enemy. If you have any doubt about your salvation, we encourage you to repent of your sins and surrender your life to Christ, confessing Him as Lord. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*

Now, let us address the practical and spiritual steps you must take. First, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from mature believers in your life, such as a pastor or a trusted Christian friend. You should not face this battle alone. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can receive prayer, discipleship, and protection from the body of Christ.

Second, you must put on the full armor of God daily. Ephesians 6:13-18 instructs us:
*"Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."*

Third, we must pray for your protection, deliverance, and for the exposure and defeat of these demonic forces. We also pray for your brother-in-law, that God would convict his heart, break the power of darkness over his life, and lead him to repentance. Remember, our battle is not ultimately against him but against the spiritual forces that may be influencing him. We pray that God would either remove this man from your life or so radically transform his heart that he is no longer a threat to you.

Finally, we must address any fear or anxiety you may be feeling. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Do not allow fear to dominate your life. Instead, rest in the promise of Psalm 91, which assures us of God’s protection: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ ... You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you."* Claim these promises over your life and trust that God is your protector.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister to You, asking for Your divine protection, deliverance, and peace to surround her. Lord, You are a God who sees all things, and You know the depths of the evil that seeks to harm her. We ask that You would expose every demonic scheme, every witchcraft, and every curse that has been sent against her. Break their power in the name of Jesus and render them ineffective. Let every plan of the enemy against her life be turned back upon his own head (Psalm 7:15-16).

Father, we bind every demonic spirit that may be influencing or operating through her brother-in-law. We command these spirits to be silenced and cast out in the name of Jesus. We break every assignment of harassment, obsession, and harm, and we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around her, her home, and her loved ones. Let Your angels encamp around her, delivering her from all evil (Psalm 34:7).

We also pray for her brother-in-law. Lord, if he is under demonic influence, we pray that You would break those chains and set him free. Convict his heart of sin and draw him to repentance. If he is involved in witchcraft or any occult practice, we pray that You would expose these sins to him and lead him to turn away from them. Lord, soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May he encounter Your love and power in a way that transforms his life. But if he refuses to repent, Father, we ask that You would remove his influence from her life completely. Create distance between them and shut every door that he may try to use to harm her.

Lord, we ask that You would fill our sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remove all fear, anxiety, and torment from her mind and heart. Strengthen her faith and help her to stand firm in Your promises. Give her wisdom to know how to respond in every situation, and surround her with godly people who can support and pray for her.

We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment she shall condemn. This is her heritage as a servant of the Lord, and her righteousness is of You, O Lord (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we thank You that You are faithful and that You will complete the work You have begun in her. We trust in Your power and Your love, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying and reading the Word of God daily. Fill your home with worship music and the reading of Scripture, as these are powerful tools against darkness. If you feel led, consider fasting as a way to intensify your prayers and seek God’s intervention. Most importantly, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

If this situation involves physical threats or abuse, we also strongly encourage you to seek help from local authorities or organizations that can provide safety and support. God often uses practical means to protect His children, and there is no shame in seeking help when needed.

Stand firm, sister. The Lord is your strength and your shield. He will not allow the enemy to ultimately prevail against you. Trust in Him, and you will see His deliverance.
