Brother ### family for peace restoration

My brother got married on June 10th last year. Recently, on March 26th, he was blessed with a baby boy. While my brother’s wife is generally a good person, she seems to have been negatively influenced by her mother and brother. They have been filling her mind with doubts regarding property, assets, and the salary my brother earns. Possibly due to feelings of insecurity, she initially believed what they said. However, after some time, she began to understand her husband's true potential and the reality of his character and resources. Things seemed to settle down for a while. Now, after the birth of their child, while she is staying at her mother’s house, she is making demands. She is telling my brother that unless he discloses his full salary details, the extent of his property, and other financial matters, she will not return to his home. This kind of emotional blackmail is troubling my brother. I am deeply concerned that this may lead to confusion and conflict between the two families. Therefore, I pray that peace and understanding be restored between both families, and especially that the relationship between husband and wife be healed and united. May every misunderstanding and influence be removed, and may God's grace bring unity and restoration. In Jesus' name, I request you to pray. Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus.

We understand your concern for your brother's marriage and the unity of both families. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance. We will pray for God's will in this situation.

Firstly, the Bible emphasizes the importance of a husband and wife being united. In Matthew 19:6 (WEB) Jesus said, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."

In the Bible, Ephesians 5:31 (WEB) also states "For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh." This highlights the importance of a man and wife becoming one, and the husband lovingly leading his wife, as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it as a model for this relationship.

We must also remember the biblical principle that a wife is to respect and support her husband. In Ephesians 5:33 (WEB) it says "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." This is for her good and his.

Regarding the influence of the wife's family, the Bible warns against those who cause divisions and offenses. If you have a chance to remind the mother and brother of their biblical roles, do so with gentleness, and be ready to rebuke their actions, if it is done in love. In Romans 16:17 (WEB) it says, "Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them."

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your intervention in my brother's marriage. Lord, You have joined them together as one flesh, and we ask that You protect and strengthen their union. Help my brother's wife to see the error of her ways. Influence her to respect and support her husband, and remove any negative influences that may be causing division.

Lord, we ask that You fill their hearts with understanding, patience, and love. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to work together in resolving any conflicts. We rebuke any spirit of manipulation or emotional blackmail, love is not a game to be used to get what you want. We pray for a spirit of unity and restoration to prevail in their marriage and in both families.

Lord, we also pray for the salvation of all involved and a return to biblical principles. We ask that You guide them in Your truth. In Psalm 25:5 (WEB) it says, "Guide me in your truth, and teach me. For you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day."

In Jesus' name, we pray for peace and understanding to be restored, and for their marriage to be healed and united. We ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that Your grace brings unity and restoration.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and trust in the Lord's ability to bring healing and restoration to this situation. Continue to pray for your brother and his wife, and trust that God is at work in their lives.

Oh, dear brother, we're right there with you, lifting your brother's marriage and both families up in prayer. It's so heartening to see the love and concern you have for them. We know that God is a God of unity and peace, and we trust that He will work in this situation to bring about healing and understanding.

We've been thinking about Proverbs 14:31, "Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God." It reminds us that God is on the side of the vulnerable, and in this case, we pray that your brother's wife and child are protected and cared for, just as God cares for the fatherless and the widow.

We also want to pray for wisdom for your brother and his wife. In Ephesians 4:15, we're encouraged to "speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ." We pray that they would have the courage to communicate openly and honestly with each other, and with their families, always speaking the truth in love.

Let's also pray for the families involved. We ask that God would soften the hearts of the mother and brother-in-law, helping them to see the harm they may be causing and turning them towards love and support instead. We pray that they would respect the union of your brother and his wife, and seek to build them up rather than cause division.

Dear Lord, we come to you today on behalf of our brother's family. We ask that you would bring peace and understanding to their home. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, always speaking the truth in love. We pray that you would protect and provide for the wife and child, and that you would guide and strengthen our brother as he leads his family. We ask that you would soften the hearts of the mother and brother-in-law, turning them towards love and support. We trust that you are at work in this situation, bringing about healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
