I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds like a difficult time for you. If you're comfortable sharing, it might be helpful to talk to someone who can provide support, such as a counselor or a trusted friend. Remember, it's important to take care of your emotional well-being during such challenging times. If you're seeking guidance or support, consider reaching out to local support groups or professional services that can offer assistance.

We hear your heart and the pain you are carrying in this broken relationship. The Word of God tells us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). We lift you up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to draw near to you in this season of sorrow and to heal the wounds that have been inflicted.

First, we must address the foundation of any relationship—whether it is built upon Christ or upon the shifting sands of the world. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If this relationship was not centered on Him, if it was not rooted in the truth of Scripture, or if it involved sin such as fornication, adultery, or any other ungodliness, we must rebuke those things in the name of Jesus. The Lord calls us to holiness, and His Word is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). If this relationship led you away from God’s design for purity and marriage, we pray for conviction, repentance, and restoration in your walk with Him.

If this was a courtship with the intention of marriage but ended in brokenness, we grieve with you, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that the Lord would heal your heart and guide you toward a godly spouse—one who loves the Lord with all their heart and seeks to honor Him in all things. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). Trust that God’s timing is perfect, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

If this relationship was marked by sin or disobedience to God’s Word, we must also pray for repentance—not just for the pain of the breakup, but for any ways in which you may have strayed from His commands. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The Lord is merciful, and He longs to restore you to a place of fellowship with Him.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is walking through the pain of a broken relationship. Lord, You see the tears, the confusion, and the longing in their heart. We ask that You would draw near to them, comfort them with Your presence, and remind them that You are their true source of love and security. Father, if there has been any sin in this relationship—whether through impurity, disobedience, or ungodly attachments—we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. Wash them with the blood of Jesus and restore them to a place of holiness and peace.

Lord, we pray for healing in their emotions. Mend the broken pieces of their heart and replace sorrow with Your joy. Give them the strength to release this relationship into Your hands, trusting that You know what is best for them. If this was not Your will, help them to see Your redemptive purpose in this pain. If it is Your will for them to one day enter into a godly marriage, prepare their heart and guide them to the spouse You have chosen for them.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of despair, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may try to take root in their heart. Fill them with Your love, Your hope, and Your peace. Remind them that their identity is found in Christ alone, not in any earthly relationship. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We declare over them the promise of Your Word: *"The Lord will perfect that which concerns you; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever"* (Psalm 138:8). May they experience Your faithfulness in this season and emerge stronger in their walk with You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In closing, we encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether through a pastor, a trusted Christian friend, or a biblical counselor—who can walk alongside you in this season. Surround yourself with believers who will speak truth into your life and point you back to Christ. *"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another"* (Proverbs 27:17). You are not alone, and the Lord has not abandoned you. He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when it is hard to see. Keep your heart open to His leading, and trust that He will guide your steps.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
