Dear ###, we are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. The pain and mistrust caused by infidelity can be overwhelming, but we want to assure you that there is hope and healing in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB) and that marriage is a sacred institution designed by Him (Matthew 19:6 WEB). It's important to fight for your marriage and seek God's will in this situation.
However, it's crucial to address the sin that has been committed. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and that whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart (Matthew 5:28 WEB). Your husband's actions were wrong, and it's important for him to truly repent and turn away from this sin.
We also want to encourage you to seek God's strength and healing. The Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will help you through this difficult time.
