We are truly saddened to hear about the separation of your family into three different households. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family's restoration and unity.
In all circumstances, God desires that families be strongly united, as seen in His word Psalm 133:1 WEB: See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!
However, it is essential to understand that true unity comes from hearts turned towards God, obeying His commandments, and living in accordance with His will. This might involve acknowledging and addressing any issues that may have contributed to the separation. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB: if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family that is currently separated. We ask, Lord, that You would mend each heart, drawing everyone closer to You. Reveal any truths that need to be acknowledged, and help each family member to humble themselves, seek Your face, and turn from any wicked ways.
We pray against any spiritual obstacles that may be hindering their unity, and we ask You to work in each person's life, bringing conviction, repentance, and a desire for restoration. We claim Your promise, Lord, that when we call on You, You will answer us and show us great and mighty things that we do not know. We ask for unity beyond just the three households, but in Christ Jesus which is the only way to be saved.
Help them to forgive one another, to love one another, and to be patient with one another, bearing with one another in love, as You have called us to do. We are to be diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, as one body and one spirit, even as we have been called in one hope of our calling. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a people for His own possession, zealous of good works. We ask for this family that all will come to salvation in Jesus Christ.
Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying, trusting that God is working behind the scenes. Remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He is faithful, and He desires the best for you and your family. Continue to seek Him, trust Him, and obey Him, and watch as He works in your family's life.
