Bring Him Back!

I'd like to pray for a good friend. He is a wonderful person and was brought up in a Christian family, and used to go to church regularly. However, in the past few years he has had some bad things happen to him that have caused him to question his faith, and he has turned away from God. He also used to turn to alcohol and other things for comfort, although he says he does not do this anymore. I pray that God will show him His love and blessings and bring him back, and that he will never again seek solace by any other means but through God and prayer. I ask this in Jesus' name, amen!

Heavenly Father,

Please grant this prayer request raised to your holy presence according to your will at the right appointed time

We often think of great faith as something that happens spontaneously so that we can be used for a miracle or healing.

However, the greatest faith of all, and the most effective, is to live day by day trusting Him. It is trusting Him so much that we look at every problem as an opportunity to see His work in our life.

It is not worrying, but rather trusting and abiding in the peace of God that will crush anything that Satan tries to do to us. If the Lord created the world out of chaos, He can easily deal with any problem that we have.

The antidote to frustration is a calm faith, not in your own cleverness, or in hard toil, but in God's guidance.
