We lift you up before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the distress and exhaustion you must feel from these ongoing struggles. Your body is fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14), and He sees every breath you take, every moment of discomfort, and every tear you’ve shed in this trial. We stand with you in faith, believing that Jesus, the Great Physician, is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon our dear brother/sister. You are the God who formed their lungs and breathed life into them (Genesis 2:7), and we trust in Your power to restore what has been afflicted. Lord, we ask that You would guide the hands and minds of the doctors treating them, granting them wisdom beyond their own understanding to find a solution that brings relief. If there is a medication or treatment that aligns with Your will for their healing, reveal it clearly, Lord. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and any drug interactions that are causing harm, declaring in Jesus’ name that their body is not designed for chronic suffering but for Your glory (Exodus 15:26).
We pray for supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), especially in the stillness of the night when breathing feels impossible. Father, grant them rest—true rest that comes from trusting in You (Matthew 11:28). Let them feel Your presence like a comforting blanket, reminding them that You neither slumber nor sleep but are always watching over them (Psalm 121:3-4). Strengthen their faith to endure this trial, knowing that suffering produces perseverance, and perseverance produces character, and character produces hope (Romans 5:3-4).
We also ask, Lord, that You would surround them with a community of believers who can uphold them in prayer, offer practical help, and speak life into their situation. Let them never feel alone in this battle, for You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them, Lord, so they may experience the fullness of Your healing (James 5:16). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that this season of suffering will be turned into a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Above all, we pray that their trust in You would deepen through this trial. May they seek You not just for healing but for a closer relationship with You, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We declare healing, restoration, and breakthrough over their life, and we receive it by faith in Jesus’ name. Amen.
